JAKARTA — The appointment, effective Feb. 1, 2026, is part of the company’s effort to strengthen governance and support its ongoing business and digital transformation, Taspen said in a statement.

President Commissioner Fary Francis said Mambrasar’s experience across the private sector and government would contribute to the company’s focus on human capital management.

“Strengthening human capital is key to Taspen’s future. Mr. Mambrasar’s experience provides added value as we continue our transformation,” Fary said.

Mambrasar will report directly to the president commissioner and will focus on improving workforce professionalism at the firm, which manages pensions for millions of Indonesian civil servants.

Mambrasar previously worked at energy company BP and served as a special staff member to the president for innovation. He holds degrees from the Bandung Institute of Technology, the Australian National University, Oxford and Harvard.

“I am committed to supporting Taspen’s transformation to deliver better services for retirees and active civil servants,” Mambrasar said.

The appointment comes as the government pushes for stronger governance standards and broader representation in leadership roles across state-owned enterprises.
